The defendants are also accused of storing firearms at their residence in Gesse Phase II area of Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, without lawful authorisation.

In count one, the prosecution alleged that Malami knowingly aided terrorism financing by refusing to prosecute alleged financiers, contrary to provisions of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022.
