Rohr, who has previously managed the Nigerian team, pointed out that one significant issue facing Cameroon is their defensive struggles, having conceded six goals in three group stage matches, averaging two goals per game. The defensive frailties could potentially pose a challenge for Cameroon as they take on the Super Eagles in the crucial knockout stage.
Additionally, Rohr drew attention to a strained relationship within the Cameroon team, specifically between goalkeeper Andre Onana and manager Rigobert Song. The reported discord within the team dynamics could impact their performance on the field.
Expressing his predictions for the upcoming clash, Rohr believes that despite the challenges faced by Cameroon, they still have the best player in Africa and are likely to qualify.
