Endrick Set for Real Madrid Loan Move in January
Brazilian teenager Endrick is expected to leave Real Madrid on loan in January, according to several reports from Spain and Brazil. The 18-year-old forward, who joined the Spanish giants this summer from Palmeiras, has struggled to find playing time under coach Xabi Alonso.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Sources close to the club say Real Madrid are finalizing plans for a short-term loan to give the young striker more minutes and experience. Sevilla are reportedly leading the race to sign him, though other European clubs have also expressed interest.
Endrick arrived at Madrid amid huge expectations after an impressive rise at Palmeiras, where he became one of Brazil’s most promising footballers. Real Madrid signed him for a fee of around €60 million, viewing him as part of their long-term future alongside fellow Brazilians Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo.
However, the teenager has found opportunities limited this season. He has yet to start a competitive match and has mostly featured from the bench. With stars such as Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius, and Rodrygo ahead of him in the pecking order, Real Madrid believes a loan spell would help him gain valuable match experience and confidence.
Spanish outlet Cadena SER reported last week that Endrick’s development has been slower than expected after suffering a thigh injury earlier in the season. Club officials still see him as a key part of Madrid’s future plans but feel a loan move could help him adjust to the demands of European football.
Real Madrid have used this strategy successfully in the past, loaning out young players such as Brahim Díaz and Martin Ødegaard before integrating them into the first team. The proposed deal for Endrick is expected to be a simple loan without any option to buy, ensuring he remains tied to the club.
While no official statement has been made, Alonso hinted at the possibility of rotation when asked about Endrick’s situation last week. “He’s a very talented player and part of our plans,” the coach said. “Competition in attack is high, but his time will come. We’ll decide what’s best for his growth.”
Endrick has kept a low profile, avoiding public comment on the reports. According to Brazilian media, he is open to a temporary move if it guarantees regular playing time. His representatives are believed to be in contact with several clubs in Spain and France.
Sevilla, who are looking to strengthen their attack in January, are seen as a strong candidate. The Andalusian club have a history of nurturing young talent and could offer the minutes Endrick needs. French club Marseille and Germany’s RB Leipzig have also been mentioned as potential destinations.
The final decision is expected in December before the January transfer window opens. If completed, the move would mark Endrick’s first loan spell since joining Mad

Ahmed Musa Snubs Europe Return, Focused On Kano Pillars Revival.
Former Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has no plans to return to Europe despite the relegation battle facing his current club, Kano Pillars.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The 31-year-old had been linked with a move to Kazakhstani side FC Kaysar, who recently signed his former international teammate Victor Moses. However, sources close to Musa confirm he intends to remain at Pillars.
The ex-Leicester City forward is reportedly fully committed to helping Kano Pillars, where he now combines his playing duties with the role of General Manager.
The Sai Masu are embroiled in a relegation fight in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), and Musa is determined to steer the club away from danger while restoring its past glory.
Musa’s last European stint was with Turkish Süper Lig side Sivasspor. Since returning to Nigeria, he has taken on greater responsibility at Pillars, both on and off the pitch.
Meanwhile, Bayelsa United head coach Meremu Okara has set his sights on a top-nine finish in the NPFL this season.
The Prosperity Boys climbed to 14th place after defeating South-South rivals Rivers United 1-0 on Sunday. The victory provided some breathing room, but they remain just one point above the relegation zone.
Okara expressed confidence that his team can push into the top half before the season concludes.
“I would like the team to end the season among the top nine, that is, above 10th position, from ninth upwards. That’s what we’re pursuing,” he stated after the win against Rivers United.

‘I Saw My Dad’s Lifeless Body’ – Carter Efe Opens Up About Father’s Tragic Murder.
Nigerian skitmaker and streamer, Carter Efe, has recounted the tragic murder of his father by armed robbers disguised in military camouflage during a robbery incident in Ogun State.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Speaking on the ‘Honest Bunch’ Podcast, Carter Efe revealed that his father, a police officer, had just finished his shift and decided to follow a police van to the nearest bus stop near their home.
The skitmaker said his father’s vehicle, along with colleagues, unknowingly drove into an ongoing robbery on the highway, where the men in military attire were actually armed robbers.
According to him, his father and colleagues stepped out of the vehicle to investigate the traffic gridlock, only for the robbers to open fire upon seeing them in police uniform.
Carter Efe described the murder as particularly traumatic because he saw his father’s lifeless body on television, and the footage remains available on YouTube.
“My dad had just closed from duty and was heading home, but he decided to take the police van to the nearest bus stop near our house in Ogun State,” he said.
“However, they ran into a gridlock where some men in military camouflage were committing a robbery. My dad and his colleagues alighted to see what was happening, but as soon as the robbers spotted them in police uniform, they opened fire. My dad’s body is on YouTube—I saw him lying lifeless in his uniform.
“I am no stranger to pain. I have been through a lot, and no pain will ever make me stop my grind,” Carter Efe added.

VIDEO: ‘Don’t Use Machete To Settle Quarrel’ – El-Rufai Says In Pre-Arrest Message.
Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has called on Nigerians to uphold peaceful and lawful conduct, cautioning against self-help and mob justice while he remains in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
El-Rufai made the appeal in a video released by his media aide, Muyiwa Adekeye, amid growing concerns over his continued detention and legal disputes with federal anti-corruption agencies.
Recorded before he attended an invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the former governor acknowledged the possibility of an extended period in custody.
“Hello fellow Nigerians. As I leave my home to honour the invitation of the EFCC, I am aware of the likelihood that I may be detained for an indeterminable length of time. So I thought I should leave a few messages for you so that we continue to communicate,” he said.
El-Rufai emphasized that peaceful and lawful behaviour is the bedrock of any democratic society.
“Today I want to speak to you about a very important foundation of democratic society, which is peaceful and lawful conduct. It is unacceptable for anyone to take the law into his or her own hands. We should abide by the law,” he stated.
He urged Nigerians to resolve disputes through established institutions rather than resorting to violence.
“We should conduct ourselves peacefully and lawfully. Private disputes should be taken to the courts, while public disputes will involve government intervention. We also have the police and other law enforcement agencies to arbitrate when disputes arise,” he said.
Warning against mob justice, El-Rufai added: “No one should take a machete to settle a quarrel. Law enforcement agencies exist for this purpose. Yes, people may have complaints about the police, but it is the only police we have, and we should work to make it better.”
He also encouraged citizens to demand accountability from security agencies while remaining law-abiding.
“We should challenge the police to perform better. We should hold all law enforcement agencies accountable to abide by the law and their rules of conduct,” he said.
The former governor noted that even minor violations contribute to a broader culture of indiscipline.
“Peaceful conduct is the foundation of every democracy. To sustain our democracy and ensure national progress, we must refrain from any unlawful behaviour, however minor. Whether it is driving on the wrong side of the road or ignoring traffic lights, these actions constitute unlawful conduct and should be discouraged,” he stated.
He concluded with an appeal for strict adherence to the rule of law.
“So I want to appeal to all Nigerians to bear this in mind every single day, every single hour, and every single second—to continue observing the law and engaging in peaceful conduct at all times,” El-Rufai said.
The video emerged days after the Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja, declined to entertain his bail application, deeming it premature. Justice Joyce Obehi Abdulmalik adjourned the matter to April 23, 2026, for proper arraignment.
