In a related development, popular actor Yul Edochie has voiced deep concern over the alarming rate of premature deaths in Nigeria, particularly across the southeastern region.

Edochie attributed the trend to the widespread rejection of traditional religious practices, arguing that the spirits of the ancestors are angry due to being ignored and dishonored.

He urged Nigerians to return to indigenous spiritual paths, insisting that doing so would bring about healing and divine intervention.

“Our ancestors are upset. They’ve been neglected,” Edochie stated.
“If we go back to our roots and reconnect with our ancestral spirits, they will rise and fight our battles. Nigeria urgently needs spiritual cleansing.”
