During a recent visit to the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Boro Town, Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, Ahmed commended the Corps members for their discipline and adherence to camp rules.
He emphasized the significance of the NYSC SAED (Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development) programme, encouraging Corps members to engage with it to become self-reliant and future employers.
Ahmed also stressed the importance of personal vigilance and advised Corps members to read the provided security tips booklet. He cautioned against posting NYSC activities on social media and advised avoiding unnecessary adventures and night travel due to safety concerns.
Additionally, State Coordinator Mrs. Okpalifo Obiageli Charity updated the DG on the camp’s progress, noting the Corps members’ successful adjustment to the regimented lifestyle and active participation in camp activities.
