According to reports from DAILY POST, the employees regained their freedom on Sunday, May 26, 2024, following negotiations with their captors. It is understood that an undisclosed sum was paid as ransom, allegedly in the Kabba area of Kogi State.

An anonymous local resident revealed that eight of the kidnapped victims were released after a ransom was paid, while four had been previously rescued by security forces. Unfortunately, two of the recently released individuals are undergoing treatment to recover from the trauma inflicted during their captivity.
