Daniel Umobong, Chairman of the Primary Election Committee, announced that Ben was the sole aspirant to purchase the party’s nomination and expression of interest forms for the governorship seat. In addition to the gubernatorial race, the party cleared five candidates for the House of Representatives and 10 for the House of Assembly after a thorough screening process. Umobong confirmed that the primary was conducted peacefully and strictly followed all party regulations.
Party Leadership Reaffirms Unity and Legitimacy Comrade Lincoln Charles, the Akwa Ibom State Labour Party Chairman, congratulated Ben and the other successful candidates, expressing his strong belief in Ben’s capacity to lead the state from the Hilltop Mansion.
