Lagos Government Deserves Support, Not Protests – Tinubu’s Daughter Appeals To Market WomenFolasade Tinubu-Ojo, the daughter of President Bola Tinubu and the Iyaloja General of Lagos State, has advised parents to discourage their children from participating in the planned nationwide protest set for August 1.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a viral video, Tinubu-Ojo emphasized that the Lagos State Government has made significant progress and deserves the public’s support. She appealed to Nigerians to give the Federal Government, led by her father, time to prove itself before being criticized.

Tinubu-Ojo made these comments on Sunday while addressing market women in Yoruba. She warned about the dangers of joining the #EndBadGovernance protest and urged the women to talk to their children.

In the video, she said in Yoruba, “Let’s talk to ourselves, our children, and our families that there is nothing like protesting in Lagos; it is just a ploy to destroy the country. See the last protest and the damage that was caused. Let’s not allow our children to participate because a party is paying some people to fight.”

Switching to English, she added, “There is nothing like protest in Lagos State because the government of Lagos State is making us proud. They are making us happy and giving us a sense of belonging. The government at the center just assumed office. Before you say a government is not doing well, give it at least three years.”

She concluded with a cautionary note: “Prevention is better than treatment. We will not suffer loss of lives. Let everyone warn their children.”
