British National and Nigerian Wanted by Police for Alleged Plot to Overthrow Government....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The Nigeria Police Force has declared British national Andrew Wynne, also known as Andrew Povich, and a Nigerian named Lucky Obiyan wanted for allegedly plotting to overthrow the democratically elected government. The police revealed that Wynne had established a network of sleeper cells aimed at toppling the government and plunging the country into chaos.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, the Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, disclosed that Wynne rented a space at Labour House in Abuja, where he set up a school under the guise of “STARS of Nations Schools” and an “Iva Valley Bookshop” as a front for his subversive activities.
“The Nigeria Police Force has launched a comprehensive investigation into the activities of foreign nationals and subversive elements plotting to undermine the democratically elected government in Nigeria through unconstitutional regime change and orchestrating violence across the country,” Adejobi stated.
The police, in collaboration with other security agencies, have already apprehended nine suspects involved in the plot. These suspects are accused of receiving substantial financial support from foreign sources to destabilize the nation. According to preliminary findings, the suspects orchestrated and funded violent protests, spread false information, and engaged in other unlawful activities designed to create anarchy and justify their illegal plan to overthrow the government.
The investigation uncovered that Wynne, using the alias Andrew Povich or Drew Povey, was the mastermind behind the plot. He allegedly provided financial backing and operational guidance to his Nigerian collaborators, urging them to incite public violence, storm police stations and military barracks, and provoke a bloodbath intended to draw international condemnation of the Nigerian government.
“These acts are in clear violation of the Terrorism (Prevention) Act 2011 and other relevant laws,” Adejobi emphasized.
Since the investigation began, Wynne and his local coordinator, Obiyan, have fled the country. The Nigeria Police Force has officially declared them wanted and has initiated a global manhunt to apprehend them.
