Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, visited President Bola Tinubu to advocate for increased cooperation between federal and state governments to enhance the well-being of Nigerians.

After their closed-door meeting, Governor Yahaya praised the federal government’s efforts to address crises in Kaduna and Plateau states.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration among states, the federal government, and local governments for effective service delivery.

The governor highlighted ongoing engagements in healthcare and business environment reforms and stressed the significance of economic growth for national progress.

Yahaya underscored the need for modernizing agriculture and encouraged farmers to adopt contemporary techniques.

Gombe State’s inclusion in the Special Agric Processing Zones was mentioned, emphasizing the potential benefits if other states collaborate similarly.

Regarding security challenges, the governor commended President Tinubu’s response to incidents in Kaduna and Plateau states, expressing gratitude for the support provided to victims.

Yahaya called for a review of the causes behind the Plateau crisis and emphasized the importance of dialogue, understanding, and peaceful coexistence.
