A member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Philip Agbese, has expressed his admiration for President Bola Tinubu and Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, commending their patriotism and dedication to public service. During a recent appearance at the Pan-African Parliament’s Extraordinary Session in Midrand, South Africa, Agbese highlighted how their efforts have elevated Nigeria’s status on the international stage.
Agbese acknowledged President Tinubu’s exceptional leadership role as the President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), emphasizing his commitment to human rights and the rule of law. He noted, “President Tinubu’s vision for a prosperous and integrated Africa is inspiring. His leadership has earned Nigeria a respected position on the global stage.”
The lawmaker further praised President Tinubu for his unwavering dedication to African development and integration, stating, “His influence is being felt across the continent.” Agbese expressed his gratitude for Tinubu’s tireless efforts in promoting these vital issues, which he believes are essential for the continent’s growth.
The Deputy Spokesman of the House of Representatives also commended Speaker Abbas for his revolutionary approach to governance. According to Agbese, Abbas has inspired a new generation of African leaders and driven significant progress across the continent. He stated, “Speaker Abbas has strengthened continental solidarity, cooperation, and development, promoting peace, security, and stability.”
Highlighting Abbas’s role in the Pan-African Parliament, Agbese remarked on his contribution to promoting a common economic recovery strategy that benefits all Africans. “His leadership has been instrumental in shaping Nigeria’s position on the global stage,” he added.
Agbese pointed out that the objectives of the Pan-African Parliament align closely with the visions of both President Tinubu and Speaker Abbas. He expressed his commitment to continue working alongside them to achieve shared goals and foster a brighter future for Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

News reports that she reacted to the incident in a Facebook post on Wednesday, where she admitted responsibility and expressed regret over the controversy.
Sisi Alagbo said she was deeply sorry to anyone who felt hurt or disappointed by the video.
In her words, “I own my mistakes, and I apologise with all sincerity for the video circulating online. I am deeply sorry to everyone who felt disappointed in me.”
She also disclosed that the backlash has had a serious impact on her emotional health, saying she has been unable to eat or sleep properly since the video went viral.
“I am already passing through a lot. I can’t eat or sleep for days. Even sleeping medicines aren’t working for me any longer,” she said.
Appealing for forgiveness and understanding, she added, “Please forgive me. I don’t want to injure myself. I only have a little strength left.”
The incident adds to a growing trend of leaked private videos involving public figures in Nigeria, with personalities such as Tiwa Savage and Moyo Lawal previously facing similar situations.
