Didi Walson-Jack, the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, extended warm greetings to Nigerian Muslims in honor of the 2024 Eid-El-Maulud celebration. This significant occasion marks the birth of the Prophet Muhammad and serves as a reminder of the values he embodied.
In a statement issued by Eno Olotu, the Head of Public Relations in Walson-Jack’s office, she emphasized the importance of upholding the Prophet’s timeless virtues, including peace, kindness, humility, and selflessness. These qualities should be reflected in daily interactions among individuals, fostering a sense of community and understanding.
Walson-Jack expressed her heartfelt wishes, stating, “As we commemorate this day, may the blessings of Eid-El-Maulud illuminate your homes and enrich your lives with love, peace, and prosperity.” Her message highlights the significance of the celebration and the positive impact it can have on individuals and families.

Iheanyi Chinasa, the National Assembly Liaison Officer to Abia State Governor Alex Otti, has officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The defection was announced in a statement on Sunday by Levinus Nwabughiogu, media aide to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. According to the statement, Chinasa—popularly known as Dogo—joined Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu at an APC stakeholders’ meeting held in Owerri, Imo State.
The meeting, which was convened by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, brought together several party leaders and formed part of ongoing efforts by the APC to strengthen its influence in the South-East region.
Chinasa’s move has attracted attention given his role in Abia State, where he previously worked closely with the Labour Party-led administration as a bridge between the state government and federal lawmakers.
His defection also signals a political shift, as he had earlier contested against Benjamin Kalu for the Bende Federal Constituency seat in the 2023 general elections on opposing platforms.
Reacting to the development, Kalu welcomed him into the APC and expressed confidence that more political figures may join the party in the near future. He also urged party members and aspirants to remain committed as preparations for future elections continue.
