Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor Reveals Miraculous Survival After Battling Aggressive Cancer....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has opened up about his intense battle with an aggressive form of cancer, sharing his emotional journey of survival. In a video that quickly went viral on Tuesday, Oritsejafor, who serves as the Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church in Warri, Delta State, reflected on the profound challenges he faced during his diagnosis and treatment.

Appearing somber and reflective in the three-minute video, Oritsejafor recounted the physical, emotional, and spiritual trials that accompanied his illness. Despite the severity of his condition, he credited his unwavering faith as the cornerstone of his recovery.

“How do you face cancer and still stand like this?” Oritsejafor posed to his audience. “What I have not told you is when I was going to America, full of cancer, you did not know. I did not tell you. I looked normal because that is my way of life.”

The pastor revealed that on the day he traveled to America for medical treatment, he was joined by a close acquaintance who was also battling the same aggressive type of cancer. While Oritsejafor returned to Nigeria after his treatment, his acquaintance tragically returned in a casket.

According to the World Health Organization, cancer encompasses a large group of diseases that can originate in almost any organ or tissue. These abnormal cells grow uncontrollably, invade surrounding tissues, and can spread to other parts of the body.

In a poignant moment, Oritsejafor urged his congregation not to celebrate his survival, acknowledging the sorrowful loss of his friend. “Please don’t clap because I am not better than him,” he said. “But God remembered me. He remembered my heart. I have always had a heart for God. I told God, if you save me from this, I will double my service. I will serve you twice more. And he saved me and brought me home.”

  • According to an insider source, prison warders entered Bolarinwa’s cell while he was asleep, woke him up suddenly, and pushed him to the ground, causing him to fall.

  • Following the alleged altercation, he was rushed to the Military Hospital on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, for medical attention and theatre evaluation.

  • A family source corroborated that relatives were later informed of the incident, claiming that Bolarinwa reported being severely beaten and subjected to physical abuse during a search for a mobile phone.

  • The family source also expressed deep safety concerns, alleging that this incident follows several previous attempts on his life.

Background on Conviction

Bolarinwa has been serving a prison sentence following his initial remand in April 2022 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

  • He was arraigned before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Special Offences Court in Ikeja on a 13-count charge encompassing forgery, possession of false documents, and obtaining money by false pretences amounting to ₦266.5 million.

  • The EFCC stated that Bolarinwa deceived Kodef Clearing Resources Limited by posing as a military general and claiming that former President Muhammadu Buhari had shortlisted him for appointment as Chief of Army Staff, extracting large sums to “facilitate” the role.

  • Investigators also recovered forged appointment letters, military identification cards, recommendations bearing former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s name, and several firearms from his Alagbado residence.

  • Justice Taiwo convicted him on all 13 counts, sentencing him to seven years’ imprisonment without the option of a fine, ordering asset forfeitures, and directing him to pay ₦20 million in restitution.
