Discover The 8 Talented Artists Under The Marlian Records Umbrella....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Marlian Records, the music label, is the brainchild of the street-hop artist Azeez Fashola, renowned as Naira Marley. Established in December 2019, it has since expanded to incorporate a diverse roster of artists.

In the contemporary music landscape, securing a record label contract is a formidable challenge, and many budding talents often languish due to the lack of mentorship and financial support for their music careers. Fortunately, Naira Marley, the CEO of Marlian Music, has extended an invitation to young, up-and-coming musicians to join his record label.

However, recent controversies have cast a shadow over the label’s future, particularly concerning the untimely demise of one of its former artists, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as MohBad. Accusatory fingers have been pointed at Naira Marley and others.

These concerns are not unfounded. MohBad was previously affiliated with Naira Marley’s Marlian Records before his contentious departure in 2022. Tragically, at the tender age of 27, he passed away on September 12, 2023, amid allegations of violence and mistreatment during his tenure with the record label.

Below is a compilation of artists signed under Marlian Records:

1. Naira Marley (Azeez Adeshina Fashola): Naira Marley, the founder of Marlian Records, serves as both the label’s CEO and a prominent artist. He officially introduced the record label during his Marlian Fest concert at Eko Hotel and Suite in Lagos on December 30, 2019.

2. Zinoleesky (Oniyide Azeez): Zinoleesky, a Nigerian songwriter, singer, and rapper born on April 21, 2000, is one of the initial four artists who inked deals with Marlian Music in December 2019.

3. CBlvck (Olamilekan Kazeem Kudus): CBlvck, whose real name is Olamilekan Kazeem Kudus, was also signed to Marlian Music alongside Zinoleesky in December 2019.

4. Fabian Blu (Inim Fabian): Fabian Blu, a talent from Akwa Ibom State, was among the quartet signed to Marlian Music in 2019. Some time after his signing, Fabian Blu expressed concerns on social media about the label’s unequal promotion efforts compared to his label mate Zinoleesky. The status of his association with the label remains undisclosed to the public, as neither Fabian nor Marlian Music has confirmed any contract termination.

5. Tori Keeche: On August 23, 2020, Tori Keeche made history as the first female artist to join Marlian Music.

6. Vusic: Vusic joined Marlian Records in June 2023. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, he embarked on his music career in 2019.

7. Emo Grae: Emo Grae, known for songs like “0903” and “Gone,” is a singer-songwriter who became a part of Marlians Records in 2020.

8. Lyta (Babatunde Rahim): Lyta, a Nigerian singer, signed with Marlian Records in 2020, following his departure from YBNL (Olamide’s record label) in 2018, which had been shrouded in controversy.
