Speaking with Punch, a voter, Adeniyi Taye, praised the electorate for their massive participation. He stated, “We are many in the area. You can see from the large turnout here. Ex-Governor Rauf Aregbesola.”

According to Naija News, there are three polling booths situated in close proximity in the area. Voting has commenced at all locations, except for Ward 8, Unit 10.

Earlier reports indicated that the electoral process at Aregbesola’s unit faced disruption following an invasion by suspected thugs. Vanguard reported that this incident caused some voters at the unit of the immediate past Interior Minister to flee the scene.

Regarding logistics, Presiding Officer Elizabeth Adaramaja informed journalists that chairs and tables were initially unavailable for the INEC ad hoc staff. However, ADC party agent Samson Grace contradicted this, stating the issue had been resolved and voting was proceeding.

“The issue has been resolved. Voting is going on now. We had a little delay, but we have resolved the situation,” Grace said.
