Osun NURTW Boss Cries Out, Accuses Adeleke, Commissioner Of Plot To Arrest Him.

The acting chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Osun State, Kazeem Oyewale, has accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State and the Commissioner for Information, Kolapo Alimi, of allegedly plotting to arrest and eliminate him over what he described as false allegations.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

reports that Commissioner Alimi had recently claimed that the Governor’s son, B-Red, survived an assassination attempt and linked the incident to suspected hoodlums allegedly led by Oyewale, also known as Kas Asiri Eniba. According to the commissioner, the incident reportedly occurred around the Oke-Fia area, close to the Osun Government House.

However, Oyewale, speaking with journalists in Osogbo on Monday, strongly denied any involvement in the alleged attack on B-Red, insisting that the accusations were completely untrue.

The APC chieftain in Osun State called on President Bola Tinubu and the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, to intervene and protect him and his supporters, alleging that he is being targeted and harassed by government officials.

He also hinted at taking legal action to seek redress over the allegations.

Oyewale said: “I want to call the attention of President Bola Tinubu, the IGP and Nigerians. They should come to my aid because the governor and Kolapo Alimi have called for my arrest over untrue allegations, and they are even threatening me.

“Those after me killed my younger brother in November 2022, and up till now, they have not released his corpse. This is another election cycle in Osun State.

“They have been trailing me and want to kill me. They are lying against me, making claims they cannot prove, including saying I wanted to kill the governor’s son.

“They also accused me of destroying billboards. It does not make sense. I know nothing about these allegations. This is the same pattern they used in 2022. I am a member of the APC—what business do I have with Accord? Whenever there is trouble in their party, they try to blame me.”

He further urged his followers not to panic, alleging that attempts to intimidate and arrest NURTW members had failed in the past and would not succeed again.

“They used indiscriminate arrest of NURTW members in 2022, but it will not happen again. That is why they are now running a campaign of calumny against me,” he added.
