Former African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has criticised former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, over comments suggesting that his daughter influenced his political decisions.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

reports that Kwankwaso had said his daughter advised him to support Peter Obi during the 2023 election period. He made the remark while speaking on Arise TV in an interview focused on political alignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to Kwankwaso, his daughter had encouraged him to consider forming an alliance with Obi even before both politicians later became associated with the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

Reacting to the statement, Sowore took to his account to attack the former governor, questioning his political relevance and decision-making capacity.

He argued that if Kwankwaso now relies on his daughter for political guidance, then she might as well be better suited to run for president, suggesting that the former governor has lost political strength.

Sowore also accused him of dishonesty and added a moral and religious criticism in his post.

He wrote: “Mr. @KwankwasoRM, if your ‘daughter’ now has to tell you who to work for in 2027, then perhaps she, who obviously knows better than you, according to your own postulation, should be the one running for President. Clearly, you have become politically atrophied. Liars shall not make heaven! #AACOurParty.”
