“Government Cares” — Tinubu Reassures Nigerians Amid Insecurity, Hardship.

Speaking in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Tinubu said the government remains focused on policies designed to support vulnerable and low-income Nigerians.
He assured that efforts to improve citizens’ welfare would continue, stressing that the administration will not relent in finding solutions to the country’s difficulties.
According to him, stable electricity remains central to national development, noting that industrial growth, skills acquisition, and productivity depend on reliable power supply.
He pledged that his government would work to ensure improved electricity access to drive economic development across the country.
Tinubu also commended Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, for his leadership style and commitment to governance.
On security, the President assured that the government is intensifying efforts to properly equip and train the armed forces to combat terrorism and banditry, expressing confidence that the challenges would be overcome.
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), a pro-re-election group backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for 2027, has unveiled 16 directors to oversee key departments within the organization.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The announcement was made by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, who serves as the group’s Director General and National Coordinator, in a statement issued in Abuja by Tunde Rahman, Director of Media and Publicity. The appointments are aimed at strengthening the group’s operations nationwide.
Among those named is former PDP spokesman Olisa Metuh, who will head Organization and Mobilization. Others include Mele Kolo Geidam (Finance), Muiz Banire (SAN) (Monitoring, Compliance & Legal), Bisoye Coker-Odusote (Technology & Data), and Abubakar Rabiu Abubakar (Support Groups).
Additional appointments feature Ibrahim Garba (Intelligence), Senator Sani Musa (Special Duties), Hon. Simon Karu (Planning), and Dr. Halima Suleiman Zakari (Welfare).
Rounding out the list are Dr. Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri (Administration), Bilikisu Muhammed Kaika (Women Affairs), Abike Dabiri-Erewa (Diaspora), and Hadiza Bala Usman (Research & Innovation).
The RHA is tasked with promoting the achievements of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda across the country ahead of the 2027 elections. Its leadership also includes Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani as Deputy Director General, Gombe State Governor Muhammed Inuwa Yahaya as Secretary, and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke as Deputy Secretary.
Uzodimma added that the structure extends to six zonal coordinators, 37 state coordinators, and 774 local government coordinators to boost grassroots outreach.
Meanwhile, President Tinubu, during a meeting with RHA leaders and coordinators on April 16, reaffirmed his readiness to contest the 2027 presidential election.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State has strongly opposed reported moves by the state government to revisit the alleged Offa robbery case involving former Governor Abubakar Bukola Saraki and others.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
reports that the party made its position known during an emergency press conference in Ilorin on Friday, describing the development as politically motivated and unjust.
PDP spokesman, Comrade Olushola Adewara, said the alleged plan to reopen the case amounts to an attempt to politicise a matter that has already been concluded by the courts.
He alleged that the move was targeted at dragging Saraki into a case in which, according to him, legal authorities had previously found no evidence linking him to the incident.
Adewara referenced earlier legal opinions from the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation, which reportedly stated that Saraki was not connected to the robbery case.
The party insisted that suspects in the case had already been prosecuted and convicted, with judgments upheld at appellate levels, while the matter is currently before the Supreme Court.
PDP urged Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to focus on governance rather than what it described as attempts to revive old political narratives.
It also called on security agencies to monitor the situation closely, warning that such actions could heighten political tension in the state.
The party further appealed to residents, especially families of victims in Offa, not to allow their pain to be used for political purposes.
