Enugu APC Denies Crisis, Dismisses Claims of Mass Resignations.

In a statement issued over the weekend by the State Publicity Secretary, Chief Uche Obute, the party also denied claims circulating in some online platforms that delegates at its recent national convention were not paid stipends, insisting the reports were fabricated.
According to the party, the allegation of nonpayment was “an outright falsehood” and a “deliberate distortion of facts,” adding that it was based on anonymous and unreliable sources.
The APC urged the public to disregard the reports, maintaining that its delegates remain loyal, satisfied, and committed to the party’s leadership at both state and national levels.
Reacting to claims of mass resignation of members in Enugu State, the party also described the reports as baseless and not reflective of reality within its structure.
It further insisted that there is unity within the party, saying allegations of exclusion and marginalisation are untrue.
The statement added that the leadership of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has promoted inclusiveness, ensuring both old and new members are fully integrated across all levels of the party structure.
Reaffirming its position, the APC said it remains united, focused, and committed to delivering good governance, stressing that no misinformation or propaganda will derail its progress.
