According to Nivo News, popular Nigerian TikToker and streamer, Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, widely known as Peller, has criticised Nigerian musicians over their engagement with local content creators and media personalities.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Speaking during a recent livestream in Enugu, Peller expressed concern that many Nigerian artists prioritise appearances on foreign platforms and collaborations with international influencers, often overlooking local streamers. He alleged that some musicians only turn to Nigerian content creators when their popularity begins to decline.
Peller urged entertainers, particularly musicians, to consistently support and collaborate with local media platforms regardless of their global recognition. He, however, acknowledged a few artists he described as supportive of local creators, including Davido, Olamide, and Tiwa Savage.
In a related development, the Benin Traditional Council has taken disciplinary action following Peller’s reported unauthorised visit to the Oba of Benin’s Palace. The council described the incident as a violation of palace protocol that disrupted order within the premises.
According to the council, Adelaja and his team gained access to the palace without adhering to established procedures, resulting in embarrassment and unrest. A preliminary investigation led to the suspension of a palace chief allegedly involved in the breach, while a staff member identified as Mr. Omuemu has been arrested and charged for facilitating the unauthorised entry.
The council also disclosed that a queen linked to the incident is currently under review and may face possible removal as part of ongoing disciplinary measures.
