The case was scheduled to be heard at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. However, the hearing could not proceed as planned because the charge sheet was not available.

The court has rescheduled the plea and trial preparation hearing for February 8, 2027, at which point Poco Lee is expected to enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. According to reports, the main trial is set to begin on March 8, 2027.

Poco Lee previously appeared before the same court on September 11, 2026, at which time he was granted bail.

Following his release on bail, Poco Lee spoke about his experience during a video call with social commentator VeryDarkMan. He maintained his innocence regarding the sexual allegations against him, stating his conscience is clear. He expressed that his primary concern during his time in custody was the welfare of his associates and the disruption to their business activities.

He said, “I was just being myself. God sees my heart. My only worries were about my people. Jago could not do anything business, and I didn’t want to stress anyone. If I was inside there and I did what I was accused of, I would have felt I was paying for my sins, but since I knew I didn’t do what I was accused of, my mind is pure.”

In a statement released on Sunday, Real Warri Pikin explained that the entire incident was an unplanned, heat-of-the-moment decision made while she was backstage enjoying the music. She admitted that she was unaware that Timaya’s performance of his hit song, “Ukwu,” involved lifting the fan who came on stage. She expressed her hesitation and initial reluctance when the singer indicated she should jump into his arms, but ultimately complied after he encouraged her not to disrupt his performance.

Taking full responsibility for her actions, the comedian asked for forgiveness from Nigerians, acknowledging that she had put herself in the situation. She concluded by directly addressing the controversy surrounding her husband’s reaction, confirming that he is currently upset with her, and humorously noting the logistical challenge of their being separated by distance while she is in America.

Fireboy DML shared how he sparked panic among his relatives after sharing an Instagram Story snippet of himself holding a cigarette as part of a showbiz presentation. The image distressed his family, particularly his mother, who became emotional and cried in their family WhatsApp group. While he initially reassured them that it was merely an act for the cameras, the singer candidly admitted during the podcast that he did proceed to smoke the cigarette after the recording.
