FRSC Sacks 43 Officers Over Misconduct.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has dismissed 43 personnel over offences including desertion, misconduct, and violations related to patrol duties.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The decision was announced in Abuja on Thursday in a statement by the Corps Public Education Officer, Olusegun Ogungbemide.

According to the statement, 31 officers were sacked for abandoning their duty posts, five for acts deemed scandalous, and seven for misconduct linked to patrol operations.

The Corps said the action underscores its commitment to discipline, stressing that wearing the FRSC uniform carries responsibility and that violations of its rules attract strict sanctions.

Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed stated that the dismissals reflect the agency’s zero tolerance for indiscipline and unethical behaviour. He described desertion as a grave offence, particularly for an organisation tasked with safeguarding lives on the nation’s roads.

Mohammed added that improper conduct and patrol-related infractions damage the Corps’ image and undermine its values of professionalism, discipline, and transparency, insisting such behaviour will not be tolerated.
