In a post shared on Instagram, the actress said her comments were made in anger and clarified that she did not intend to fuel any misunderstanding.
The disagreement between the pair stemmed from Akpororo’s involvement in the ongoing public dispute between Doris and Pastor Chris Okafor. The comedian had advised the actress to take the matter off social media and resolve it privately, noting that criticisms against Okafor were heightened because of his position as a pastor. He also cautioned that taking the issue online made it seem as though she was overreacting.
Doris, however, fired back, insisting that Akpororo did not grasp the gravity of her situation and had no right to dictate how she should respond. She maintained that speaking publicly was necessary for her safety and accused the comedian of hypocrisy, implying that his stance was influenced by personal benefits allegedly received from Okafor.
She further warned that she would expose alleged past misconduct involving women if Akpororo continued to interfere.
In response, Akpororo challenged her to release the alleged video and denied all accusations of wrongdoing.
Subsequently, Doris Ogala issued a public apology, retracting her claims.
She wrote, “I tender my sincere apology to Akporo. Whatever I said was said in anger. Any misconception it must have caused, please find it in your heart to forgive.”
