Naija News reports that the disagreement began over the nickname “Big Bird”, which both Seun and Wizkid use on social media.
During the exchange, Wizkid reportedly told Seun that he was bigger than Seun’s father, a comment that sparked outrage among fans.
In response, Motunrayo posted a video defending her father’s name and legacy. She accused Wizkid of disrespecting Fela and criticized him by referencing his parents.
Motunrayo insisted that Fela’s impact far surpasses that of Wizkid’s family, emphasizing that no contemporary artist can compare to her father’s achievements.
She said:
“Wizkid is bigger than Fela? Wizkid, you are bigger than your own father, Muniru Olátúnjí Balogun, the man who abandoned you, and your late mother. Our father, Fela, is far greater than your parents. Yes, Fela is bigger than both of them.”
