DNA Drama: Dele Momodu Steps Aside As Davido’s Alleged Babymama Reacts.

Published

on

The alleged babymama of Afrobeats star Davido, Ayo Labinjoh, has expressed frustration that Ovation publisher Dele Momodu has not intervened in her ongoing DNA dispute with the singer, despite his close ties to the Adelekes.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a post shared on her daughter Anu Adeleke’s Instagram page, Labinjoh reiterated her claim that the DNA test conducted on her child was fake.

She also criticized media personality Daddy Freeze, accusing him of protecting Davido’s image instead of encouraging an independent DNA test.

Labinjoh lamented that despite being an uncle to Imade Adeleke, Momodu has stayed out of the controversy.

She wrote:

“Good morning from Ayo Labinjoh 🙏🏾

So I hear people want to make Anu Davido’s daughter by force! Even if he had been poor, would I not fight for my child’s identity after the FAKE DNA test in September 2014? Davido was not super rich when I met him—he was an up-and-coming singer at the February 2013 Dami Duro concert after-party in Ibadan.

Daddy Freeze saw one of the supposed five DNA tests (the same I posted from Dr. Kemi Olunloyo’s 2018 investigation) but instead of arranging an independent test, he publicly declared on live video that Davido is not Anu’s father, effectively laundering Davido’s image.

Even Uncle Dele Momodu, who is close to the Adelekes and uncle to Anu’s half-sister Imade, has chosen not to intervene. When children are treated like this, one day they become vocal—as my princess did—but she was cursed, bullied, and threatened, despite being promised copies of the five DNA tests for public release.

Davido, you and I know what happened in February 2013. Did you tell the world you sent money on Anu’s naming ceremony in November 2013? Or that someone called from your line on November 9, 2025, the day of your #5Alive concert in Ibadan? I don’t take calls from someone who abandoned his first daughter for 13 years. Are you contacting me for a DNA test or because you’ve seen her Instagram page?

You are a boy, not a man. You are a dad, not a father.

Here are the five DNA test dates, David:

  • Anu Adeleke – September 2014

  • Imade Adeleke – June 2015

  • Hailey Adeleke – May 2017

  • Dawson Adeleke – June 2021

  • Ivanna Bayy – June 2023 (in-utero #Terminated)

My faith and strength remain in God and @usinnigeria. If anyone has #DrKemi’s number abroad, please DM it to me. She has been sending a token of ₦300,000 yearly to Anu since we last saw her.”

Talks between both fighters’ camps have reportedly resumed after previous attempts to finalise the bout collapsed over the years. Usyk, who has faced—and defeated—both heavyweights twice, said his recent time training alongside Joshua has strengthened his belief in the Briton’s readiness.

Joshua has been working in Spain with Usyk as part of his recovery and return to full fitness following a December car accident, after which he sustained minor injuries but has since resumed structured training.

Speaking to The Independent, Usyk praised Joshua’s commitment in camp, describing him as highly focused and determined.

He also called for continued support for Joshua during a difficult phase in his career, urging fans not to turn against fighters during setbacks, but to stand by them as part of the sport.

Usyk acknowledged that Joshua is nearing a full return but stressed the need for patience as he continues recovery.

Meanwhile, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn suggested the former world champion is likely to take at least one more fight before a possible showdown with Fury, adding that his current training setup has been beneficial for his focus and preparation.

Usyk himself is preparing for his own upcoming bout scheduled for May 23 in Egypt, where he will face kickboxing star Rico Verhoeven.
