Kano NSCDC Promises Justice As Fagge Officer Redeployed Over Tragedy.

According to Nivo News, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano State has redeployed the Fagge Divisional Officer after a volunteer tragically died at the divisional office.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

A statement issued by the corps’ Kano spokesman, SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, confirmed that the State Commandant, Mohammed Hassan Agalama, approved the redeployment of SC Amina Musa Kolawale, with CSC Bashir Isa Abubakar appointed as the new divisional officer.

The statement further noted that all officers and personnel on duty on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, including the former divisional officer, have been transferred to the Nigerian Police, Kano State Command, to facilitate further investigation and appropriate action.

The NSCDC called on the public to remain calm, reiterating its commitment to upholding the sanctity of life, human rights, professionalism, integrity, standard operational procedures, and the rule of law.

“While the Corps continues to appeal for calm and peaceful coexistence, the NSCDC further wishes to reassure the general public of continuous respect for life, human rights, professionalism, integrity, standard operating procedures, and the rule of law,” the statement added.
