Kano NSCDC Promises Justice As Fagge Officer Redeployed Over Tragedy.

A statement issued by the corps’ Kano spokesman, SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, confirmed that the State Commandant, Mohammed Hassan Agalama, approved the redeployment of SC Amina Musa Kolawale, with CSC Bashir Isa Abubakar appointed as the new divisional officer.
The statement further noted that all officers and personnel on duty on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, including the former divisional officer, have been transferred to the Nigerian Police, Kano State Command, to facilitate further investigation and appropriate action.
The NSCDC called on the public to remain calm, reiterating its commitment to upholding the sanctity of life, human rights, professionalism, integrity, standard operational procedures, and the rule of law.
“While the Corps continues to appeal for calm and peaceful coexistence, the NSCDC further wishes to reassure the general public of continuous respect for life, human rights, professionalism, integrity, standard operating procedures, and the rule of law,” the statement added.

Following the circulation of a video that appeared to show a woman removing a device from her bag, Bambam clarified that the individual in the footage was her personal assistant, not the thief. She explained that she only realized her phone was missing after she had left the venue and returned to her car. She noted that because many attendees had approached her for greetings and photographs throughout the event, it was impossible to pinpoint exactly when the theft occurred.
Reflecting on the incident, the mother of two expressed deep concern over the loss of her personal data, noting that many of her photos and videos were not backed up. She also shared her shock that such an event would be targeted by thieves, confirming that she was not the only victim; others, including her friends and a brother of the late actor, also had their phones stolen. Bambam concluded by firmly urging the public to stop harassing her assistant over the incident.
