Speaking at a press briefing at the NUJ Secretariat, Uyo, over the weekend, Rev Ufot emphasized that while prayers are vital, praises possess the power to reach where prayers cannot. He encouraged the public to embrace praising God even in the midst of difficulties.

“The most potent way to move God and manifest His glory is through praise,” he said, citing King David as an example of overcoming challenges through heartfelt worship. “If you open your heart and praise God, it will bring a total turnaround in all you do. We expect God to visit our nation, Nigeria, and Akwa Ibom State, guiding Governor Umo Eno in implementing his ARISE agenda, and to intervene in every aspect of our lives as we lift praises to Him.”

Rev Ufot recounted a moving testimony from a listener who abandoned a suicidal attempt after being inspired by the song “Amazing Grace” on a live radio program. He urged the weary and those burdened by life’s challenges to attend the praise jam, anticipating divine intervention.

Artists participating in the event also shared their optimism, expressing hope that the gathering would positively impact individuals and communities across the state.
