Speaking during a recent podcast, the Mavin Records artist reflected on his collaborative process with producer Don Jazzy, admitting that their popular song was never deliberately crafted to dominate the charts.

“I don’t think when we were making it, we thought, ‘Oh, this is going to be a huge song,’” Johnny Drille explained. “No one ever really knows what a hit song will be until it’s out there doing its thing.”

He added with amusement that it’s often funny when artists confidently announce their next release as a guaranteed hit. “Sometimes I laugh when I see people say, ‘I’m about to release my next hit track,’ and I’m like, bro, you don’t know what’s going to hit. Many of the biggest songs were never expected to be,” he said.

According to Nivo News, the talented singer further emphasized that even with top-tier production, major financial backing, and strategic marketing, there’s still no guarantee of success in the music industry.

“You can make incredible music, meet every expectation, and still, it just doesn’t blow up. I think it comes down to luck, timing, and the audience’s taste — they just decide what they like,” he noted.

Johnny Drille concluded by encouraging fellow artists to focus on their creativity rather than external outcomes. “At the end of the day, all an artist can do is create beautiful music,” he said.

Ufochukwu also noted that her agenda extends beyond trade, including the promotion of Nigeria’s culture, agriculture, and investment opportunities, as well as supporting training programmes in cybersecurity and information technology.

She assured stakeholders of her commitment to fully delivering on her responsibilities, adding that sustained communication and cooperation would be important in achieving set goals.

Participants at the forum highlighted the need for Nigeria to address structural barriers affecting business growth, while pointing to Israel’s innovation-driven economy as a model worth studying.

One of the attendees, Pastor Henry Opara, called for formal bilateral agreements, stressing that most current business interactions between both countries are informal and based on personal relationships rather than structured government frameworks.

He argued that stronger government-to-government agreements would provide clearer rules and more stable economic engagement.

Similarly, the National Coordinator of the Nigeria–Israel Business Forum, Mrs. Florence Osuji, urged both countries to renew official trade agreements, noting that some existing arrangements have expired, leaving current trade relations without strong institutional backing.
