Esepo, Oluwole Shine as Star Winners at GOtv Boxing Night

Agbaje stole the show after defeating Filipino fighter Richard Taruc Pumicpic via a technical knockout in the seventh round, earning him the World Boxing Federation (WBF) Intercontinental Featherweight Title. His outstanding display also secured him the Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial Trophy for the Best Boxer of the Night, along with a ₦1.5 million cash prize.

The crowd erupted in applause as Agbaje lifted both his belt and trophy, marking his fourth time winning the prestigious best boxer award at the GOtv Boxing series. He had previously received the honor at GOtv Boxing Night 19, where he also walked away with ₦1 million after defeating Waidi “Skoro” Usman.

Speaking after his victory, Agbaje thanked his supporters and sponsors for their continuous encouragement. “I’m proud to win again. It shows that hard work always pays off. I dedicate this win to my fans and everyone who believed in me,” he said.

Also shining at the event was Bolatito “Black Tito” Oluwole, who impressed both fans and judges with her energetic performance. Oluwole’s determination and strong showing earned her recognition among the top winners of the night, further establishing her as one of Nigeria’s rising female boxing stars.

Organizers described the competition as one of the most exciting editions yet, featuring several high-level bouts across different weight divisions. The event drew boxers from across Nigeria and beyond, with each match delivering moments of intensity and entertainment.
