Police in Niger State have recovered eight cartons of suspected stolen pharmaceutical products from an uncompleted building in Suleja. The state police spokesperson, Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident in a statement issued on Saturday. He explained that the operatives of ‘B’ Division in Suleja acted swiftly on a tip-off received at about 8 p.m. on August 19, 2025.

Abiodun said officers moved to the location, where they recovered medicines including Amodiaquine, Sulfadoxine, and Pyrimethamine. The items have since been taken into custody, and an investigation is underway to determine how the drugs ended up in the uncompleted structure.

Police authorities assured that efforts are ongoing to trace those responsible for transporting and concealing the pharmaceutical products.
