According to Nivo News, the couple lost their three-year-old son in 2022 after a drowning incident at their Banana Island residence in Lagos. Since then, Chioma has maintained complete silence online, even with the recent arrival of the couple’s twin babies.

In the early hours of Thursday, August 21, 2025, Chioma shared photos from her recent wedding ceremony with Davido in Miami and penned an emotional tribute to her late son. “My best friend walked with me into forever. Ify, you are on my mind and you live in my heart, always and forever, love, Mummy,” she wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, media personality Shade Ladipo has called on Nigerians to pray for Davido after the singer publicly vowed to remain faithful to his wife. During their lavish wedding celebration in the United States, Davido pledged to honor his marriage by avoiding infidelity.

In a video shared online, Ladipo expressed belief that the singer’s promise was genuine but emphasized that staying committed in marriage requires discipline. She described faithfulness as a demanding journey and urged the public to support the musician with prayers, while praising the couple’s strong bond.
