Drama Averted: BBNaija Housemates Spared in Surprise Eviction U-Turn

The twist was unveiled during the first Sunday Live Show by the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who announced that all housemates would remain in the house for the time being.
The revelation came as a huge relief to the contestants, who had spent the week on edge. Emotions quickly shifted to excitement as the housemates embraced one another in celebration.
Earlier in the week, Big Brother had secretly instructed each housemate—except the Head of House, Jason Jae—to nominate two fellow contestants for eviction, creating tension and uncertainty throughout the house.
Unbeknownst to them, the nominations were fake.
Big Brother deliberately withheld the truth, letting the fear of eviction simmer and influence the dynamics among housemates.
When the truth was finally revealed, the mood in the house transformed into one of jubilation. Many contestants viewed it as a second chance to regroup, strengthen alliances, and connect more meaningfully with the audience.
Meanwhile, outside the house, Big Brother Naija Season 6 alumnus Samuel Alifa, popularly known as Sammie, has denied involvement in an alleged ₦4.4 million audition scam.
A businessman, Emmanuel Idakwo, accused the reality TV star of defrauding him during an attempt to secure a spot on the show. In an interview with Punch, Idakwo claimed he trusted Sammie due to his prior experience as a former housemate, believing he had insider knowledge of the audition process.
Sammie has since dismissed the allegations.

When the appointment was first announced, Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, highlighted Aina’s deep background in digital infrastructure, public-sector reforms, and national examination systems, noting his historic milestone as one of Nigeria’s youngest computer engineering professors.
In his inaugural address, Aina acknowledged the foundation laid by his predecessor—who is widely credited with modernizing the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)—and vowed to expand on those achievements. Emphasizing a strong stance against malpractice, he warned wrongdoers that their illicit activities have no place at JAMB, promising to ramp up modern technological investments and deepen partnerships with security agencies to safeguard the integrity of the admissions process.
