IGP Shakes Up Force! New Police Commissioners Deployed to Ondo, Cross River, Others
The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the deployment of new Commissioners of Police to five states—Borno, Cross River, Ondo, Osun, and Jigawa—in a strategic move aimed at enhancing the operational capacity of the Nigeria Police Force.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
According to a statement issued on Saturday by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the new postings, which take immediate effect, are part of ongoing efforts to reinforce leadership at state command levels and intensify the national fight against crime.
The IGP urged the newly appointed commissioners to demonstrate professionalism and provide effective leadership in their respective assignments.
“These deployments align with the IGP’s commitment to instill professional leadership in key areas of policing and improve the Force’s overall efficiency,” the statement said.
Adejobi added that the officers have been charged to confront insecurity directly and flush out criminal elements threatening peace and stability across the country.
The newly assigned Commissioners of Police include:

The Force Headquarters emphasized that the strategic redeployments are intended to leverage the officers’ vast experience to bolster security and ensure law and order in their new areas of assignment.
Reaffirming the Force’s dedication to building a safer nation, the IGP also appealed to citizens for continued cooperation and support in the joint fight against crime.
