Church of Compassion: MFM Dispenses Free Eyeglasses, Healthcare in Capital
Residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, have received free medical services, health counselling, and corrective eyeglasses, courtesy of a medical outreach organised by the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), AMAC/ACO Regional Headquarters.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The outreach, which targeted underserved communities including Gbaupe, Gosa, and Barwa villages, offered a range of diagnostic tests such as packed cell volume, malaria and typhoid screenings, full blood count, HIV/AIDS testing, and random blood sugar checks.
In addition to diagnostics, residents received treatment for various health conditions including malaria, hypertension, diabetes, sexually transmitted infections, gastrointestinal issues, and dental and vision-related problems. Corrective eyeglasses were distributed to those in need, while more severe cases were referred to specialist hospitals for advanced care.
Speaking at the event, Pastor Victor Aboluwade, Regional Overseer of AMAC/ACO, North Central Region 59, described the initiative as part of MFM’s corporate social responsibility. He noted that, alongside the health outreach, the church also awarded full scholarships to brilliant but financially disadvantaged students of Mountain Top University.
To further support the communities, MFM donated food items including bags of rice, beans, yams, and cooking essentials to help cushion the effect of the current economic hardship.
“This intervention comes at a time when many Nigerians are grappling with a weakened healthcare system, soaring inflation, and the daily challenge of affording basic necessities,” Aboluwade said.
He added that the programme aligns with the Explosive Evangelism Initiative of the General Overseer of MFM Worldwide, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, which seeks to transform lives spiritually and physically.
Sunday Ajimoko, Head of the Hospital and Healing Ministry, emphasised that the outreach was designed to provide both immediate relief and long-term impact in rural communities.
Beneficiaries of the initiative expressed deep appreciation for the free medical care and support.
