Immediate past Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, has pledged her unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
In a statement released on Friday by her spokesperson, Musa Abdulrahman, Ohanenye expressed strong belief in Tinubu’s leadership, which she described as bold, visionary, and committed to national transformation.
“My support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu goes beyond politics—it stems from a deep personal conviction inspired by his visionary leadership, steadfast commitment to national progress, and genuine efforts to uplift the lives of Nigerians,” she said.
Ohanenye highlighted the president’s achievements despite the formidable challenges inherited by his administration, citing notable progress in economic reforms, social welfare, and national security.
“From transformative economic policies to decisive interventions in security and social support systems, President Tinubu has demonstrated unwavering resolve,” she remarked.
The former minister also revealed plans to revive her grassroots campaign platform, Naija Save Naija 2027, aimed at mobilizing 10 million Nigerians in support of Tinubu’s second-term bid. She noted that the group played a key role in the 2023 elections, especially among persons with disabilities and marginalized communities.
“Our 10-million-person target isn’t just a figure—it’s a collective declaration of confidence in the president’s leadership and a strong call for continuity,” she asserted.
Ohanenye said the campaign would actively engage a broad spectrum of Nigerians—women, youth, traders, farmers, professionals, and vulnerable groups—across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with a focus on amplifying Tinubu’s achievements and vision.
Calling on Nigerians to rally behind the president and his Renewed Hope Agenda, she described it as a realistic and transformative roadmap for the country’s future.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a catchphrase—it’s a working plan for real change. I have every confidence that President Tinubu will continue to fulfill his promises to the nation,” she concluded.
