Jandor Officially Welcomed Into APC by Lagos GAC During Umrah Pilgrimage

Jandor, who was the PDP’s gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 Lagos State elections, officially resigned from the opposition party on March 3, citing internal crises, indiscipline, and betrayal among party leaders as reasons for his exit.
According to a statement released by his media aide, Pastor Gbenga Ogunleye, the reception by APC leadership took place in Saudi Arabia during the ongoing Umrah pilgrimage.
The event was led by GAC Chairman, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, and witnessed the presence of other influential party figures including Chief Rabiu Oluwa, Senator Ganiu Olanrewaju Solomon, and Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.
Jandor described the meeting as a symbolic and unifying moment in Lagos politics. “It highlighted a collective dedication to the growth and harmony of Lagos State, showcasing shared values of unity, responsibility, and progress under the APC’s vision,” he stated.
The gathering reflects the ongoing realignment within Lagos’ political landscape ahead of future electoral contests.
