In an interview on Arise News Prime Time, Obi, who previously served as governor of Anambra State, emphasized the importance of collaboration for the country’s progress. He stated, “I am not desperate to be President, but I am desperate to see Nigeria work.”
Obi expressed disappointment with past alliances, which he believes have been motivated by power struggles rather than national development. He pointed out that these alliances have contributed to Nigeria’s current challenges.
