The Presidency has confirmed the successful rescue of all teachers and pupils who were abducted in Ogbomoso, Oyo State. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, announced on Friday via that eight of the kidnappers were arrested and are now in the custody of the Department of State Service (DSS), while others were neutralized.
