Celestial Church Prophet Reveals Shocking N1 Billion Loan Offer for Ministry Expansion....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Prominent prophet Israel Ogundipe of the Celestial Church of Christ has made headlines by disclosing a staggering N1 billion loan offer from a bank aimed at expanding his ministry’s global reach. The founder of Genesis Global Ministry, Lagos, shared this information during an interview with renowned Nigerian On-Air Personality Ifedayo Olarinde, commonly known as Daddy Freeze, on Tuesday.

While Ogundipe did not disclose the name of the bank, he explained that the institution presented him with a proposal to support his ministry’s growth, citing the trend of churches receiving similar financial backing. “A bank called me two months ago and said they wish to loan me N1 billion,” Ogundipe revealed. He expressed his initial surprise at the offer, questioning the purpose behind it.

The bank reportedly indicated that it had confidence in his ability to repay the loan, knowing the size and influence of his church. Ogundipe recounted, “They replied that they know churches are getting it (loan) and I would be able to pay it back because they know my church is big.”

He also shared that the bank provided him with a list of other churches that had secured loans ranging from N3 billion to N4 billion. When he inquired about repayment terms, the bank proposed that he would make monthly payments during revival events and crusades. “Those that collect such loans, that’s why they would never stop doing conferences, crusades, and revivals, and from there, they would get money to pay back,” he explained.

This revelation comes amidst Ogundipe’s controversial past, as he was convicted in 2020 for defrauding a London-based architect and illegally converting her property for personal gain. He faced multiple charges, including stealing, unlawful conversion of property, forgery, and fraudulently collecting significant sums from the victim between 2002 and 2005.

As Ogundipe navigates this new chapter in his ministry, the offer of such a substantial loan raises questions about the intersection of finance and faith within Nigeria’s growing religious landscape. The public will be watching closely to see how he proceeds in light of his past and the expectations of his congregation.

Multiple factions are now locked in a struggle for control of the party, leaving members uncertain about the legitimate leadership structure.

One faction is led by John Akpanudodehe, a former National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while another is headed by the embattled state chairman, Dick Duke.

Although the leader of a third faction could not be immediately confirmed, findings indicate that another group also exists within the party.

Sources further suggest that the Akpanudodehe-led faction is seeking to remove the current chairman through a recently held congress that has sparked controversy.

In response, Dick Duke convened a stakeholders’ meeting over the weekend, where he rejected the legitimacy of the said congress.

He said the party had formally written to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to distance itself from the exercise, citing a subsisting court order.

According to him, his tenure as state chairman is still valid until May, and any congress conducted before then would be unlawful.

Duke added that the party would only proceed with proper congresses after the expiration of his tenure and the resolution of legal issues, in line with due process.
