Jaruma’s Dark Descent: Lagos Plastic Surgeon’s Role In Her Devastating Drug Addiction ExposedControversial self-styled sex therapist Hauwa Mohammed, better known as Jaruma, has opened up about her troubling journey into drug addiction, revealing that a prominent Lagos plastic surgeon played a significant role in her downfall.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Jaruma, who has been out of the limelight for over a year, shared her story during an appearance on the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) X space discussion titled ‘Drug Dependence: Addressing the Fear of Stigmatization in Recovery and Overcoming the Demon of Drugs and Stigma: A Survivor’s Story.’

The sex enhancement brand owner disclosed that her addiction began after being introduced to drugs by a well-known Lagos-based plastic surgeon and friend. She described a series of events leading to her dependence, starting from an innocent offer of marijuana and escalating to more severe substances.

“I never used drugs during my school years because I was very cautious, being my mother’s only child. But things changed after a friend introduced me to marijuana and, later, to more dangerous substances,” Jaruma explained.

She detailed how a seemingly harmless encounter led to her first experience with a drug-filled balloon, which she initially declined but later reluctantly tried. Her descent into drug abuse intensified when she encountered Dr. Anu, who administered a powerful injection that caused her to lose consciousness for two weeks.

Jaruma recounted the dire consequences of her addiction, including severe physical effects and an escalating need for larger doses. She described the profound impact on her mental and physical health, including a near-fatal overdose that left her unconscious and fighting for her life in a hospital.

“I became desperate and was willing to do anything to escape my pain. I even injected myself with an excessive amount of the drug, leading to a horrific scene where I was found unresponsive,” she said.

Jaruma’s story underscores the severity of drug addiction and the critical need for support and intervention. She emphasized the importance of addressing addiction issues with compassion and urgency, urging others to seek help and avoid the pitfalls she encountered.

“NO HOPE FOR P-SQUARE: Eldest Brother Drops Bombshell, Swears Peter And Paul Will Never Reconcile!”.

Published

on

Henry Okoye, the eldest brother of the separated music group P-Square, has voiced pessimism regarding a potential reconciliation between twins Peter and Paul Okoye, suggesting their extended rift has severely fractured their bond. Speaking to social commentator Jos Connection at the family home in Plateau State, Henry discussed the ongoing conflict involving Peter, Paul, and their elder brother and ex-manager, Jude Okoye.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

While acknowledging that Peter has tried to settle their differences, Henry remains skeptical that the brothers will ever restore their previous closeness. He noted, “I will be happy for them to come back together, but I don’t think it will happen. Paul was a very kind person,” while urging Paul to mend fences with Peter and recalling Peter’s support during Paul’s illness.

Henry also expressed astonishment at how Paul’s attitude has shifted over time, alleging, “Peter is trying. I don’t know if Jude used juju on Paul because he was the nicest person in the family before. But the way he changed is surprising,” and mentioning that he has reviewed Peter’s public explanations about the crisis.

Recounting past grievances from P-Square’s early days, Henry claimed he was initially promised a 20 percent share of their earnings, an arrangement he alleged Jude blocked. He also stated that Peter once directed him to Jude regarding unpaid money. Despite multiple mediation efforts by individuals like Shehu Dantata, Henry noted that the family has struggled to find a resolution.

The tension within the Okoye family goes back years, triggering P-Square’s initial 2017 breakup before a brief reconciliation in 2021. Another fallout occurred in 2024 when Peter accused Paul and Jude of financial mismanagement and side-stepping royalties through Northside Music Limited, while Paul defended Jude and blamed Peter for legal troubles. This led to legal action, including the arraignment of Jude by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over substantial funds, with Peter testifying in the case and later acknowledging under cross-examination in February 2026 that he was a co-signatory to Northside Entertainment Limited’s account.

Despite the deep-seated bitterness and ongoing legal battles, Henry emphasized that he has forgiven everyone and hopes for a family reunion, calling on Jude to help mediate and encouraging his brothers to put the past behind them.
