Charly Boy took to his X handle on Tuesday to deliver his message. He expressed frustration over the current leadership, accusing them of being corrupt and indifferent to the suffering of ordinary citizens.

In his post, Charly Boy stated, “Dear Nigerian Youths, by now you should understand the gravity of our situation. Progress requires sacrifice. Those in power are deeply entrenched and corrupt.”

He continued, “We are governed by thieves, liars, and people who couldn’t care less about our lives. This is a crucial battle, and you are the ones who will make the difference. We must defeat this monstrous regime by getting louder and pushing harder.”

Naija News reports that the protests against the rising cost of living, which started last Thursday, are expected to continue for at least ten days. Despite President Bola Tinubu’s plea for calm in his Sunday broadcast, protesters took to the streets in several states on Monday, demanding immediate reductions in the prices of fuel, food, and other essential goods.

However, Tuesday’s protests saw a notably lower turnout after demonstrators were reportedly suppressed by security forces on Monday.
