Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Enabo, the Executive Chairman of the board, conveyed the somber news, revealing that the pilgrim succumbed to a brief illness on Saturday. He further informed that Alako’s funeral prayers and burial were conducted at the Al-Masjid Al-Haram (Ka’aba) on the same day in accordance with Islamic customs.
Expressing condolences on behalf of the Kebbi State Government, Aliyu-Enabo extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, fellow Kebbi pilgrims, and the entire populace of the state. He offered prayers for the departed soul, beseeching Almighty Allah to grant her forgiveness and eternal bliss in Jannatul Firdaus.
