According to reports, Uzochukwu lost his life three weeks ago while driving home from work. The collision occurred when a drunk driver, who had fallen asleep at the wheel, veered into Uzochukwu’s lane on the highway, resulting in a fatal impact.

Describing his son as a vibrant and accomplished individual, the grieving father remembered Uzochukwu as happy, intelligent, caring, and sociable. Despite his untimely departure at the age of 32 and his father’s persistent urging to marry, Uzochukwu dedicated himself to his medical career, specializing in Ophthalmology, a challenging field of study.

The loss has deeply affected the family, with both the father and mother experiencing immense grief and emotional turmoil. I.K.B. Igboanugo emphasizes the agonizing pain of losing a child, urging parents to cherish every moment with their children and offering prayers for those who have not endured such a tragedy.
