In a recent statement shared via X, Ajayi lauded Wike for his proactive approach to infrastructure development, particularly in the construction of roads and bridges. According to Ajayi, project execution seems to come naturally to Wike, as evidenced by the significant transformation witnessed in Abuja within just nine months of his tenure as FCT Minister.
Ajayi expressed astonishment at the rapid turnaround of long-abandoned projects under Wike’s leadership, emphasizing that such progress was previously unimaginable. He highlighted the extensive efforts undertaken by Wike to revitalize critical infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and the Abuja metro system.
“Wike is very bullish about executing projects. Doing roads and bridges comes to him as second nature. In 9 months as FCT Minister, he has positively turned Abuja upside down. Who can ever imagine all the roads, bridges, Abuja metro, and other projects that have been abandoned for several years can see the current level of turnaround,” Ajayi wrote.
