President Bola Tinubu has commenced his State visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The Nigerian leader arrived in the country in the early hours of Wednesday, responding to an invitation from the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte.

During his visit, President Tinubu is scheduled to engage in high-level discussions with Prime Minister Rutte, as well as hold separate meetings with His Royal Majesty, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Maxima of the Kingdom. Queen Maxima serves as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).

Part of President Tinubu’s itinerary includes participation in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum. This forum aims to facilitate collaboration and partnerships between heads of conglomerates and organizations from both countries, particularly focusing on sectors like agriculture and water management for innovative solutions to sustainable farming practices.

Additionally, President Tinubu will delve into discussions with Dutch officials regarding their expertise in port management operations, seeking insights into world-renowned practices in this field.

Accompanying President Tinubu on this visit are several ministers and other senior government officials, reflecting the importance of the diplomatic engagement between Nigeria and the Netherlands.
