In his post, Jimoh criticized the selective approach of targeting certain individuals for a crime that a significant portion of Nigerians are allegedly involved in, with abundant video evidence circulating on the internet. He questioned the fairness of singling out celebrities for prosecution, emphasizing that celebrities are also citizens and should not be treated differently under the law.

Jimoh expressed concern that the EFCC’s tactic of using celebrities as scapegoats to send a message to the public lacked consideration for the mental well-being of Nigerian citizens. He highlighted the absence of arrests based on video evidence of individuals spraying money, despite the law prohibiting such actions.

The actor’s remarks shed light on broader issues surrounding law enforcement strategies and their impact on societal perceptions and mental health.
