The disclosure comes amid speculation about the nature of Bobrisky’s confinement following his arrest by the anti-graft agency.

Bobrisky’s apprehension stemmed from a video report showing him allegedly spraying and flaunting wads of new Naira notes at a movie premiere in Lagos. The EFCC initiated an investigation into the matter, revealing that the crossdresser had allegedly committed similar offenses at other event centers and parties.

Upon being summoned by the EFCC for interrogation, Bobrisky voluntarily presented himself at the Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC on Wednesday, April 4, 2024. Despite being granted administrative bail, Bobrisky remains in custody as he has yet to fulfill the conditions for his release.

Speaking during the livestream, he said people from the same ethnic group often share similar cultural experiences, beliefs and ways of thinking.

“If you are a Yoruba and want to marry a Yoruba in 2026, bro, your life is finish. And if you are Igbo, you want to marry Igbo, your life is finish,” Peller said.
