Kiekie Opens Up: Why She Lived With Her Husband Before Marriage.

Published

Nollywood actress and skit maker Oluwabukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as KieKie, has explained why she lived with her husband before their wedding.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Speaking in an interview with Toke Makinwa, she revealed that they had already completed their traditional marriage rites and were preparing for their white wedding at the time they moved in together.

She said her decision was influenced by practical reasons, noting that her rent had expired around the same period, and she chose to live with her husband instead of renewing the lease.

According to her, “Before my husband and I got married, we lived together for about four months. My rent had expired, and we were getting married in January, so I asked myself why I should pay another rent. People may judge it, but I didn’t want to waste money. We had already done our introduction.”

She added that although some people might criticise the decision, the arrangement made sense for her situation at the time.

Meanwhile, KieKie also spoke about maintaining clear boundaries between her personal life and her career.

She explained that she deliberately avoids featuring her husband, Tunji Ilori, in her content because he is not naturally inclined towards comedy or performance.

However, she noted that she occasionally features her daughter, Nola, on social media, describing her as comfortable in front of the camera, though she limits such appearances to school holidays.

KieKie stressed the importance of separating personal life from branding, saying she has created a clear distinction between her identity as Oluwabukunmi Adeaga-Ilori and her professional persona as KieKie.

She further advised content creators and celebrities to exercise restraint when sharing family-related content online, warning against overexposure and excessive repetition of viral moments.

Knockout Night Incoming: Moses Itauma Eyes Dominant Return At O2 Arena.

Published

Unbeaten heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma is set to return to action on 25 July at London’s O2 Arena, with his next opponent yet to be confirmed following his dominant win over Jermaine Franklin last month.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The 21-year-old improved his perfect professional record to 14 wins from 14 fights, including 12 knockouts, after his March victory. The performance made Itauma the first boxer to stop Franklin inside the distance, a fighter who had previously gone the full rounds with Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte. That display also earned him recognition from the WBO as the mandatory challenger for its heavyweight title.

Attention has now turned to the wider heavyweight division, particularly the WBO title situation. Champion Fabio Wardley is scheduled to defend his belt against Daniel Dubois on 9 May, a fight that could influence Itauma’s next steps.

Itauma noted that the outcome of that bout will shape his path, saying that a Wardley win would complicate matters, while a Dubois victory would make a potential matchup more realistic.

Both Wardley and Dubois were present ringside during Itauma’s win over Franklin, and the young contender believes he left a strong impression on them, suggesting both fighters are now fully aware of his rise in the division.

Although he currently holds mandatory challenger status, Itauma is unlikely to face the winner of Wardley vs Dubois immediately, as the victor is expected to pursue a clash with unified champion Oleksandr Usyk. However, a standout performance in July against a top-ranked opponent could further strengthen his case for a world title shot.

One possible opponent for the July card is British cruiserweight champion Richard Riakporhe, who boasts a record of 20 wins and 1 loss, with 16 knockouts. He has rebounded strongly since his only defeat at world level to Chris Billam-Smith, winning his last three bouts inside five rounds.
