Effiong revealed that the anonymous donor had initially promised to provide 200 bags of cement for the church project. However, with the rise in cement prices due to economic difficulties, the individual became unreachable, ignoring Effiong’s attempts to reach them.

“The person who pledged 200 bags of cement for the church project is no longer answering calls.

“Even if I were the one who made this promise and posted it, I wouldn’t answer the calls.

“In this current Nigerian economy, everyone is feeling the pinch,” the post stated.
