An eyewitness claimed that the gunmen trailed the printer to Abakiliki Street in Diobu at about 8:30 pm and shot him dead while he was discussing with someone.

After the shooting, the gunmen carted away the victim’s motorcycle and one of his mobile phones.

Bystanders hurried the victim to the hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead on the morning of Sunday
